As a secretary you support the chairman in shaping, developing, and promoting the policy of Students for Children. Your main focus is the organization, structure, and the vision of the organization. Most of the logistical and operational aspects of the foundation are your responsibility. You ensure a clear and efficient way of communicating, both internally and externally. As a secretary you have insight into the organizational structure, you know what it takes to make everything run smoothly, and you are the “memory” of the foundation. In this way, you facilitate other board members to fulfil their tasks and functions as well as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Policy and continuity of the foundation
- Organization and structure of the foundation
- Internal and external communication
- Writing Minutes
- File management and file archiving
- Formal aspects of the organization

Nuclear roles:
- Taking minutes of meetings
- Preparation and distribution of the newsletter
- Manage the mailboxes, passwords, the physical mailbox, and the website
- Manage the general email address
- Maintaining contacts with external parties
- Communication with the Kamer van Koophandel (Chamber of Commerce)
- Managing, archiving, and making/keeping files accessible
- Provide other board members with the information they request
- Support the chairman in policy-making and other overarching issues

As a treasurer, you are responsible fort he financial aspect of the foundation. You make sure that the accounting is in order. Furthermore, the treasurer is in charge of drawing up the budgets, the annual financial reports and the cash flows, such as collecting donations and the payment of the funded projects. The treasurer is the authorized representative at the ING-bank. In coordination with the secretary, the treasurer provides the donation policy and the communication with the donators.

Are you an organizational talent? Do you always have creative ideas and would you like to use these for educational projects in developing countries? Then this position is perfect for you. As event coordinator, you will be in charge of organizing different events ranging from a pub quiz to a boot camp. In this position, there is a lot of room to come up with your own activities. We are looking for someone with organizational skills but who is mostly interested in organizing events. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic, enterprising, and decisive. You are responsible for the success of the events. On behalf of the board, you interact with the different parties which are involved in the organization of our events.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coming up with and organizing events
- Acting as an intermediary between Students for Children and the different parties with which we cooperate to    organize our events
- Ensure that the events proceed smoothly
- Come up with promotional plans and develop these with the marketing coordinator

- Coming up with original and lucrative ideas for events
- Being responsible for the timeline of the event
- Brainstorming about new events

The marketing coordinator is responsible for all marketing activities of Students for Children. You are working on increasing brand awareness by means of diverse channels (mainly online). You will use the website and social media accounts to keep those who are interested informed about Students for Children's activities, achievements, new projects and project updates. As a marketing coordinator, you work closely with other board members to share ideas and create up-to-date content.

Responsibilities:
- Development of the marketing strategy
- Implementation of the marketing strategy
- Contacting partners and funds
- Increase of online and offline reach (Social Media, Google, and the website)

- Maintenance of the marketing strategy
- The attraction of new donators and sponsors
- Maintenance of social media channels
- Maintenance of the website
- Creating content for the social media channels and the website after events and about projects
- Utilize Google Adwords to increase brand awareness
